If you have had sex without a condom recently you may be able to reduce the chances of an unplanned pregnancy or HIV infection.

The ‘morning after pill’ or the Coil can both help to prevent an unplanned pregnancy. They are most likely to be effective if used soon after vaginal sex without a condom.

Prevent unplanned pregnancy

PEP can help reduce the chance of HIV infection in certain circumstances and is most likely to be effective if used soon after vaginal or anal sex without a condom.

Prevent HIV infection after sex

If you have been sexually assaulted recently you may want support to report it to the police or to access a forensic examination. You may also require medication to prevent unplanned pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections
